Mr. Guthrie's classroom had a special guest teacher today… one of our very own 5th graders! Hazel gave a fun and informative presentation about Braille, teaching her classmates how people who need visual support can use Braille to read and write. She created handmade Braille bookmarks for everyone and shared a video to help explain how it works. Her classmates enjoyed decoding their names, asked many questions, and look forward to finding Braille signs around the school. Learning from each other is one of the best parts of school, and we are lucky to have some of the best!
